Ship Back Overhaul Object - Key Exercise

Basic Data Setup

IMPORTANT
It is extremely important that you set up and work within your own site to maintain your data integrity. If you work within any other site, you will compromise your own exercise data as well as the data of other students. Predictable exercise results require that your data be isolated in your own site.

Required Data

Complete Performing Assembly and Work Scope

Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to prepare the necessary reports to be delivered with the overhaul object and to ship it back.
 

Prerequisites: Define Work Scope, Releasing CAMRO Interim Order Structures, Performing Disassembly, Performing Disposition, Performing Repair Orders and Running Preliminary Conformance Check, Performing Assembly Shop Order, Complete CAMRO Work Scope Execution

Windows:

Note: This exercise is used to complete the processing of the work scope and to set the work order state to WorkDone, to proceed with the main exercise.

  1. Create and release an CAMRO interim order structure and complete all the supply orders attached to the order structure. Complete the work scope and close all the shop orders according to the prerequisites exercises.
  2. Record your interim header ID and the work order number in the table given below.

Main Exercise

Purpose: The engine is now ready to be delivered back. This is done on the dispatch order created together with the work order in the Define Work Scope exercise.

Serial Structure Information

Ship Back on Customer Order

  1. Make sure that the engine's operational condition is Operational in the Serial Structure Information window.
  2. Open the Complex Assembly Work Order window and query for the MRO work order for your MRO shop visit.
  3. Right-click in the header and then click Return Object. Now the object is reserved to the customer order line tied to the work order and the part/serial is reserved to the customer order line.
  4. Right-click and then click Customer Order.
  5. Release the customer order.
  6. Open the Quick Order Flow Handling window and query for the customer order.
  7. Process the customer order and deliver it. Verify that the cradle you received together with the engine appears on the pick list and delivery notes as well.
