Purpose: The purpose of this
exercise is to show you how to register an address type.
Windows:
Sub Contract Basic Data/Address Type
- Open the Sub Contract Basic Data window.
- Create the address type that should be associated with
the contact(s) on
your sub contract, if it has not already been created.

Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to show you the
required data that is used in the exercises below.

Create the sub contract.

Main Exercise
Purpose: The main purpose of this exercise
is to show you how to connect a contact to the sub contract.
Windows:
Sub Contract
- Open the
Sub Contract window.

Populate (F2) or query (F3) for the sub contract name
Central Air Conditioning.
- Click
the
Contacts tab.
- Create a new
record (F5) and enter the information shown in the following table:

- In the Country field, enter the country.
- In the Address field, enter the address of
the contact.
- Save the record (F12).
- Create a new record (F5) in the table of the
window.
- In the Name field, enter the contact's name.
- In the Communication Method field, enter
Phone.
- In the Value field, enter the phone number
of the contact.
- Save the record (F12).
- Repeat the procedure for each contact you want to
add to the sub contract.
