Decline Appointment Offers

Explanation

This activity is used to decline appointment offers generated by the Appointment Booking Engine (ABE). The received offers may need to change, If the user is not satisfied with the available slots or need to change appointment parameters. Once this activity is performed, user can again request appointment slots from the ABE.

Prerequisites

To perform this activity, appointment offers must be received and the status should be in OfferReceived.

System Effects

The appointment booking status will change to SlotsGenerated, while removing the appointment slots sent by the ABE.

Procedure

1. Open the Prepare Work Order/Service Request window.
2. Populate (F2) or query (F3) for the required work order.
3. Right-click, then click Appointment Booking to open the Appointment Booking dialog box.
4. The slot Id, slot length, slot window (if any), activity duration, period start, period end and appointment mode will automatically fill in. Also, appointment slots get generated in the slot area.
5. Press Request Button and observe that the status will change to RequestSent.
6. Once the offers are received, Press Decline button and observe that the status will changed to SlotsGenerated and the appointment offers sent by the ABE get removed.

Note : Once the offers are declined user has two choices, either to re-request another set of offers from the ABE or to skip appointment booking process.
