Use this step of the Change Part Revision assistant to change the template structure for the child parts of the serial for which the part revision is to be changed. This can be done when you want to change the revision of a serial which will in turn lead to changing the template of the serial (a template exists for the new revision, applies to both installed and not installed serials). This step is also applicable when the serial is included in a serial structure.
