Use this dialog box to assign a new serial part revision to the active maintenance program. Note: You can only assign revisions of the serial parts that are currently connected to the selected maintenance program. Observe the following example:
A new part revision is created for your serial part. This creation occurred after the serial part was connected to a maintenance program which is now in the Active status. It is necessary that this new part revision be included in the maintenance program. Normally for such an instance, what you would have to do is create a new revision of the maintenance program in order to assign the new part revision. However, with the introduction of this feature, you can now directly assign the required new serial part revision(s) to the active maintenance program.
