Purpose: Describe how a company is organized from a
financial point of view.

structure.

times for employees to label their hours when they are present or absent. The
wage class is a set of wage codes.

Maintenance Employee
Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to create a
maintenance employee.

Organization Basic Data
/Employees
- Open the Organization Basic Data/Employees.
- Create a new record and from the List of Values select an signature, e.g.,
EAM1 through EAM15 provided by your teacher.
- In the Maint. Org. field, select the maintenance organization 1500, Construction Department. Use the List of Values.
- Save the record.

Employee to Maintenance Organization
Main Exercises
Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to show how to
give the employee a name in HR.
Windows:
Employee
- Open the
Employee/Personal window.
- Click Query Dialog (F3) and enter a signature/person ID provided by
your teacher from EAM1 through EAM15, and click OK.
- Enter your first and last name in the Name field.
- Save the record.
Create HR Employee
Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to create an IFS HR employee.
Windows:
Employee
- Open the
Employee window.
- Query (F3) for the signature or the person ID provided by your teacher
(from EAM1 - EAM15).
- Click the Employee/Employment/Periods tab and create
a new record (F5).
- Enter the first date of the current month in the Start Date
field.
- Select Full Time as the Employee Type and enter std1 as
the Agreement ID.
- Save the record.
Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to show how to
connect an employee to a position.
Windows:
Employee
- Open the
Employee window.
- Query (F3) for the signature or the person ID provided by your teacher
(from EAM1 - EAM15).
- Click the Employee/Employment/Assignments/Positions
tab and create a new record.
- Enter SM as the Position ID. Use the List of Values to select the correct
value.
- Select Employee as the Assignment Type.
- In the Valid From field, enter the first date of the current
month.
- In the Valid To field, enter a value less than 2049-12-31.
- Save the record. (If you
get a warning message, click Yes.)
Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to show how to
connect an employee to schedules and rules.
Windows:
Employee
- Open the
Employee window.
- Query (F3) for the signature or the person ID provided by your teacher
(from EAM1 - EAM15).
- Click the Employee/Employment/Assignments/Schedules tab
and create a new record (F5).
- Enter the following values in their
respective fields: EAM in Wage Class, EAM-NORMAL in Schedule
and 1 in Shift.
- Save the record. (If you
get a warning message, click Yes.)
Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to show how to
verify the resource graph.
Windows:
Load Distribution by Employee
- Log on the Maintenance executable.
- Open the
Parameters for Employee Resources window.
- Enter a signature ID for the previously connected employee and click OK.
- Verify the that the resource graph displays available time.
Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to show how to
connect an employee to Time Management.
Windows:
Time Registration Employee Time Base
- Open the Time Registration Employee Time Base window.
- Click New (F5).
- Click List of Values (F8) and select the same employee number as
above.
- Tab to the Time Base field and select Job hour controlled wage hours.
- Save the record.
