General exercise for Creating Sub Contract

Main Exercise

Purpose: The main purpose of this exercise is to show you how to create and/or append a sub contract by using the Copy Sub Contract feature.

Through the exercises in this lesson we will create two sub contracts. One, a basic sub contract which will be used to demonstrate how to copy sub contract information to an existing sub contract. The second sub contract will be created via the Copy Sub Contract feature. This sub contract will be used in ensuing lessons and will include contract information for the installation of an HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) system in a new housing complex. We will copy information related to the installation of a central air conditioning system previously defined in the Creating Sub Contract key lesson.
