Create a Change Order
Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to show you how
to create a change order to be used for the exercise below.
- Define a change order as described in the Create a Change Order exercise
which is found in
Using Change Management
- Extended Exercises.
Create a Modification
Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to show you how
to create a modification to be used for the exercise below.
- Define a modification as described in the
Create Modification Program exercise, but do not activate the
modification.
Main Exercise
Purpose: The purpose of this lesson is to learn how to
connect a change order to a modification.
Prerequisite: The required data must have been set up.
Windows:
Define Modification
- Open the Define Modification window.
- Query (F3) for the modification that you created.
- Use the List of Values in the CO Number field to find the change
order you created.
- Save your changes (F12).
