Basic Data Setup

Enter Storage Requirement Group

Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to define a storage requirement group that you will use later to enter a default packing instruction.

Windows:

        Part Basic Data/Storage Requirement Groups

1. Open the Storage Requirement Groups window.
2. On the Capacity tab, enter a capacity requirement group, for instance XX1. Instead of XX use your initials.

Enter Packing Instruction

Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to enter a packing instruction that you will use later to enter a default packing instruction.

1. Enter a packing instruction, for instance XX2. Instead of XX use your initials.

Main Exercise

Purpose: The purpose of this lesson is to show you how to enter a default packing instruction.

Windows:

Enter Default Packing Instruction

1. Open the Default Packing Instruction window and create a new record (F5).
2. Enter XX1 as the capacity requirement group, or search for it using the List of Values.
3. In the Packing Instruction ID field, enter XX2, or search for it using the List of Values.
4. Save your changes (F12).
