Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to show you how to create CRO line holding reasons.

  1. Create a hold reason.

Required Data

Create Component Repair Order

Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to show you the required data that is used in the exercises below.

  1. Open the Component Repair Order window.
  2. Create a CRO and a CRO line with the part number XX-11000-90 and 5 as the quantity.

Note: You can create a component repair order via the Create CRO Assistant as well.

Main Exercise

Purpose: The purpose of this lesson is to show you how to set the status of a CRO line to OnHold and how to return to repair.

Windows:
Component Repair Order

Set CRO Line Status to OnHold

  1. Open the Component Repair Order window.
  2. Query for the component repair order that you created.
  3. Select the CRO line, right-click and then click On Hold. The Hold Component Repair Order Line dialog box is opened.
  4. Select the hold reason code that you created and click OK.

Return CRO Line to Repair

  1. Open the Component Repair Order window.
  2. Query for the component repair order that you put to OnHold status.
  3. Right-click on the CRO line and then click Return to Repair.
