Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to show you how to enter or complete the setup information in IFS Accounting Rules that is required for IFS/Fixed Assets. If you have already entered this information, then skip these steps.
Preparations in IFS/Accounting Rules
Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to show you how to set up the basic data required for running this functionality. In this exercise, you will specify depreciation method, book, acquisition account, base value type, calculation index, and object group.
Preparations in IFS/Fixed Assets
Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to show you the required data that is used in the exercises below. You must perform exercises in the Acquisition lesson. Also you should enter Object Physical Locations and Inventory Information.

Note: Site, Object Physical Location and Object Custodian can be selected from the list of values. Object Custodian is predefined using Enterprise/Person window.
Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to show you how to create, cancel and complete FA Physical Count.

Open Create Depreciation Plan window.
Create a FA Physical Count for Site 1, as described in the table below.

Click OK.

Report FA Physical Count
Open Depreciation Plan Report window to enter count results.
Enter the count results to the count status field, as described in the table below.

Note: You can cancel a FA physical count by using RMB Cancel FA
Physical Count.
Scrap the Missing Objects (M2 and M4) by right-clicking on the object line and then selecting Scrap Object. The count status of M2 and M4 will receive the Missing status.
Right-click and select Located to change the inventory information of M3 as specified below.

Save your changes.
Right-click on and select Complete Physical Count after all the information has been completed for the objects included in the report. To complete the FA Physical Count, it should not have objects with count status Null or Missing.

Open the Object Physical Count Report window.
Enter the ID of the physical count created in the previous exercise in the Physical Count ID field.
Click OK.
