Main Exercise

Purpose: The purpose of this lesson is to understand how to create a business lead.

Create Business Lead

Your company has run a marketing campaign. As a result of the campaign,  you have identified a business lead in China. The lead mainly communicates in Chinese. Their main line of business is exporting electronic devices. The lead is a new company but has a wide range of products. There is a potential to be converted to a prospect or customer. Now you want to register this lead in the system.

1. Enter the business lead name.
2. Define the stage as Initial.
3. Enter the default language as Chinese and country as China.
4. Enter the form of business as Electronics.
5. Enter the potential as Medium and source as Campaign.
6. Enter the name of the main contact.
7. Define your sales person as the main representative.
8. Enter Asia as the market.
9. On the Address tab, enter address details of the lead.
10. Enter delivery terms as Freight.
11. Enter ship-via as Ground.
