CRM Basic Data — Exercises
Main Exercise
Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to learn how to set up CRM basic data. CRM basic data are specified in several tabs, where some tabs are used to enter basic data to be used on customer and some other tabs used to enter data for CRM objects such as opportunity etc. If the CRM component is installed, when you open up the window you will see all tabs. Make sure to save the information you have entered before changing to another tab.

- Open the
CRM Basic Data
window.
- Click the Customer Sources tab.
- Add new record (F5).
- Enter the source ID and the description.
- Save (F12).
- Open the
CRM Basic Data
window.
- Click the Potential tab.
- Add new record (F5).
- Enter the potential ID and the description.
- Save (F12).
- Open the
CRM Basic Data
window.
- Click the Loyalty tab.
- Add new record (F5).
- Enter the loyalty ID and the description.
- Save (F12).
- Open the

- Click the Opportunity Types tab.
- Add new record (F5).
- Enter the opportunity type and the description.
- Save (F12).

- Add new record (F5).
- Enter the stage ID and the description.
- Save (F12).

- Click the Opportunity Sources tab.
- Add new record (F5).
- Enter the source ID and the description.
- Save (F12).

- Click the Opportunity Probability tab.
- Add new record (F5).
- Enter the opportunity type and the description.
- Save (F12).

- Click the Representative Roles tab.
- Add new record (F5).
- Enter the representative Role ID and the description.
- Save (F12).
- Open the
CRM and SRM Basic Data
window.
- Click the Representative tab.
- Add new record (F5).
- Enter the representative ID and name.
- Optionally, select a representative role.
- Optionally, define what prefix to use for the different objects when
created by the representative.
- If you want block it from usage for some reason, select the Blocked for Use
check box.
- Save (F12).
- Open the
CRM and SRM Basic Data
window.
- Click the Representative Group tab.
- Click on the Representative Group field on the header level.
- Add new record (F5).
- Enter the representative group and the description.
- Optionally, define what prefix to use for the different objects when
created by a member of the group.
- Save (F12).
- Click on the table area and add new record (F5) to enter representative for the group.
- Enter the representative ID. Note that the Main Representative
check box is automatically selected. You cannot clear the box but you can specify other representative as the main
representative.
- Save (F12).
- Open the

- Click the Activity Types tab.
- Add new record (F5).
- Enter the activity type and the description.
- Save (F12).
- Open the

- Click the Activity Priority tab.
- Add new record (F5).
- Enter the activity priority and the description.
- Save (F12).
- Open the

- Click the Personal Interests tab.
- Add new record (F5).
- Enter the interest ID and the description.
- Save (F12).

- Click the Campaign Interests tab.
- Add new record (F5).
- Enter the interest ID and the description.
