Usage

Use this window to view, update or define information for a stop event.

Stop events can be used for several purposes, such as:

  1. To register events that have caused a particular production unit to stop its operations.
  2. To record the time periods during which the production unit is deliberately shut down, for instance, due to maintenance purposes.
  3. To report events that may require some type of action to be taken, even though these events are not currently causing a stop in production.
  4. To register planned stops of production units for the future in advance, for example, New Year, Annually, and Quarterly.

You can create a new work order from a stop event (that will be connected automatically to the stop event) or you can connect an existing work order. A stop event can be connected to one or more stop events, where the connected stop event should be of the system stop event type No Production Loss, e.g., the connected stop event should not be included in any APQ calculations.
