Use this window to either study part routing cost or to simulate routing cost for a routing alternate.
When studying part routing costs, there are three types of records. Records with the Routing Cost Type set as Part Cost are created when a record is generated via part cost calculation. Records with the Routing Cost Type set as Simulated Part Cost are created when a record is generated via the Cost Build-Up per Structure/Routing window. Records with the Routing Cost Type set as Simulated Routing Cost are created when a record is generated via this window. Effects of by-product cost distribution does not show in this window.
Note: If part has a by-product, cost reductions related to the by-product will not be taken into consideration when part routings cost is simulated or viewed.
