Define Background Job for Updating Last Years Values

Explanation

This activity is used yearly to transfer the accumulated operational parameter and maintenance cost values for the selected serial to the value and cost of the previous year.

Note: At installation, the server process for updating last years values is set (by default) to execute the first day of each year at 00:30 A.M. If an operational parameter is deleted and then created, the value total is lost. 

Prerequisites

• Values for the current and previous year must exist.
• Operational parameters must exist.

System Effects

• The values in the Value This Year and Value Last Year fields are used in the calculation of Historical Average Value for Operational Parameters.
• Values for the previous year can be viewed.

Procedure

Follow this procedure to view last years values for all operational parameters defined for all serials:

1. Open the Serial Operational Information window.
2. Click the Operational Log tab.
3. Query (F3) for your serial number. The Value Last Year field displays the last years values for that serial.

Follow this procedure to view last years maintenance cost values for all serials:

1. Open the Serial Structure Information window.
2. Click the Additional Serial Info tab and then click the Life and Cost sub tab.
3. Query (F3) for your serial number. The Cost Last Year field displays the last years cost value for that serial.
