Park Shop Order

Explanation

Use this activity to park a shop order. Parking will stop further processing of the relevant shop order.

Prerequisites

This activity requires the existence of a shop order having a status of Planned, Released, Reserved or Started.

System Effects

The result of this activity depends on the following planning parameters attached to the connected Park Reason.

Exceptions :

As a result of this activity, the status of the shop order material lines and operation lines will change to Parked.

Procedure

To park shop order(s) using the data view:

  1. Select one or more shop orders that you want to park.
  2. Right-click anywhere in the header, or selection on Shop Orders window, point to Shop Order Status and then click Park.
  3. Then the Park Shop Order dialog box appears. Use the list of values and select a Park Reason.
    Note: Planning parameters in the dialog box will be updated with the attached Park Reason.
  4. Enter additional information you need to add in the Park Information group box.
  5. Select OK. This will change the status of the shop order(s) to Parked.

To park shop order(s) using the visualization view:

  1. Open a visualizer enabled window and query for the site needed.
  2. If the Data View is displayed, click Visualization View on the title bar.
  3. Right-click and click Select Visualization. The Select Visualization dialog box is opened.
  4. Double-click Shop Order Machine Load or Shop Order Labor Load.
  5. Select the bar/segment representing the shop order(s) you want to park, right-click, point to Shop Order Status and then select Park.
  6. Park Shop Order dialog box appears. Use the list of values and select a Park Reason.
    Note : Planning parameters in the dialog box will be updated with the attached Park Reason.
  7. Enter additional information you need to add in the Park Information group box.
  8. Select OK. This will change the status of the shop order(s) to Parked.
