Move to Maintenance Program 

Explanation

This activity is used to move a serial from one maintenance program to another. The maintenance program to which the serial(s) is to be moved must be valid for the selected serial's part number and revision combination along with, the part number and maintenance group of the serial.

Prerequisites

A valid maintenance program(s) needs to be defined for the serial.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the selected serial(s) will be moved to the maintenance program of your choice.

Procedure

1. Open the Define Maintenance Program window.
2. Query (F3) for the maintenance program from which a serial is to be moved.
3. Click the Affected Serials tab.
4. Select one more rows that contain the  serials that you require to move.
5. Right-click and then click Move to Maintenance Program. The Move to Maintenance Program appears.
6. In the Maint Program field, click List to select the required valid maintenance program.
7. The values in the Revision and Description fields appear automatically. If necessary, you can select a different maintenance program revision. In the Revision field, click List to select a valid revision.
8. Click OK.
