Create/Edit Support Issue

Explanation

Use this activity to enter and maintain support issues and to exchange messages between one or more interested parties. The support issue contains information about the contact reference, business reference, issue assignment, issue history, and item message.

Prerequisites

System Effects

The support issue is created and can be edited. Any changes to the issue assignment and newly entered item messages are shown in the Issue History field, together with all existing messages in chronological order.

Procedure

  1. Create a new record.
  2. Enter the subject and contact ID.
  3. Enter any desired business references.
  4. Edit the issue assignment.
  5. Edit the item message.
  6. Save your changes.
