Dispatch Solution

Explanation

Use this activity to dispatch a global solution to a support organization, and to a suitable assignee or queue within that organization. 

Prerequisites 

A global solution must have been entered, and should be in the New or Open status.

Procedure 

  1. Open the Global Solution window
  2. Query for the relevant record (F3). 
  3. Right-click and then click Dispatch. The Dispatch Solution dialog box opens.
  4. Enter a value in the Organization field. Click List to select a value.
  5. Enter a value in either the Queue field or the Assignee field. Click List to select a value.
  6. Optionally, you can enter the following:
