Accept Solution
Explanation
Use this activity to accept a global solution. Once you
accept a global solution, you will automatically become the owner of the
selected global solution.
Prerequisites
A global solution must have been entered and should be in
the New or Queued status.
System Effects
- The assignee who accepts the solution will
become the solution owner.
- The status of the global solution will be changed to
Open.

Procedure
- Open the
Global Solution window
- Query (F3) for the relevant
record.
- Right-click on the window and then click Accept. The
Accept Case dialog
box opens.
- Optionally, you can enter the following:

A value in the Work Folder field. Click List to select a value.
- A value in the Category field.
- Additional information in the Comments/Requests field.
- Click OK.
