Define Default Plant for Users

Explanation

This activity is used to define the default plant for users from a system administrator's point of view. This eases the task of having to enter the plant each time you enter information about objects related to the plant. You can however change this setting later on depending on the plants visible to you.

Prerequisites

A plant must be created and you must have access to it.

System Effects

A default plant is set for selected users. This plant is suggested and entered by default on a new entry in Design Object windows.

Procedure

On the Plant window:

1. Open the Plant window.
2. Select the users for whom you want to set the queried plant as the default plant, right-click and click Make Default Plant.
