Use this tab to enter data which affects the forecast consumption process and decrements forecast based on receipt of actual orders. Forecasts are primarily consumed in a backward manner, starting from the period corresponding to the customer need date or the original quoted shipment date. If there is no remaining forecast for the period, the system consumes forecasts in earlier time periods. If there is not enough forecast to consume, forecast can be consumed in a forward manner, starting from the period corresponding to the customer need date or the original quoted shipment date. This is defined via the Forecast Consumption Window field and the Forward Forecast Consumption field.
