When the general information is entered the service request is created. Then it is possible to prepare the service request and enter some additional information, such as start and finish dates, work leader and coordinator. From here it is possible to see and apply customer warranties that are valid for the equipment object. Note that you cannot apply customer warranties to VIM (vehicle information management) serial object. You can plan the work that has to be done via a standard job, or type in a more comprehensive description of the work. If a standard job has been linked to the service contract line, it will be displayed here along with some associated information. You can also enter some fault report information, such as how the service was discovered, the symptom that the object shows, and a description of the fault.
