Select Equipment Object and Address

Explanation

Use this activity to select the equipment object that is to be included in the service request. If several addresses have been entered for the same object, you can also select a combination of object and address.

Prerequisites

Before the equipment object and address can be selected, the following must have been completed:

• The customer must have been entered in Service Request. 
• The object must have been entered in IFS/Equipment. The object must also have been connected to the customer.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the equipment object is included in the service request. You can enter additional information for the service request/work order.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to select the object for the service request:

1. Right-click and click Objects for Customer. The Objects for Customer dialog box is displayed.
2. Mark one object. Note that there can be several rows for the same object as there can be several addresses for the same object.
