View Available Work Orders

Explanation

This activity is used to view the work orders that need to be executed by a mobile user. The mobile user can be a service engineer who will need to work on-site or at the customer's site. The importance of the work, the timeframe in which it must be performed, specialist skills and the user's location etc need to be considered when viewing and analyzing the work orders.

Prerequisites

To perform this activity, work orders should be created with the relevant information under IFS/Work Order Management.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, you have decided which work orders need to be transferred to IFS Mobile Work Order.

Procedure

1. Open the Active Work Orders window or the Prepare Work Order/Report in Route/Active Routes window.
2. Populate (F2) or query (F3) for the work orders that are prepared and ready for transfer to the mobile users.
