Set Operational Status

Explanation

This activity is used to enter the status of operation an equipment object can have when a work order is performed on it. From a production point of view, operational status can be of the Obstructive or Not Obstructive types.

Prerequisites

Before setting an operational status, the following must have been completed:

• Information on the operational status must have been entered in Work Order and PM Basic Data.
• The work order must have been retrieved in the window.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, an operational status of the work order is set. This operational status can then be used in the planning of the work order.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to enter the information:

1. Click the Prepare tab. 
2. In the Operational Status field, use List of Values to select the identity for status of operation. Verify, whether the operational status is of Obstructive or Not Obstructive type.
3. Save the information.
