Enter Document Text

Explanation

Use this activity to enter a short document text, and link it, for example, to a requisition line. Document texts are short pieces of information that can be linked to and printed along with requisitions or customer orders. 

Prerequisites

Before a document text is entered, the following must have been completed:

As a result of this activity, the document text is printed on the documents that you have specified for the output type.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to enter a text:

  1. Select the line to which you want to connect a text.
  2. Right-click and click Document Text.
  3. Click New.
  4. Select a suitable output type for the document in the Output Type field.
  5. Optionally, enter a text in the Document Text/Phrase Text field, or use the List button to select an existing phrase.
  6. Click Save.
