Enter Destination Object

Explanation

Use this activity to enter the parent equipment object, that the repaired serial object is to be moved to, when it is moved from the work shop to the facility.

Prerequisites

Before information on the destination object is entered, the following must have been completed:

• The functional object created with an object level that allows serial objects.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a serial object is moved from the repair workshop to the parent object.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to enter the information:

1. In Report In Work Order, select the Place Serial in Equipment Structure operation. 
2. In the Part No field, enter the identity for the serial object.
3. In the Object ID field, enter the identity for the parent object.
4. Save the information.
