Define Search Criteria

Explanation

Use this activity to define the search criteria to view information on the Resource Load Graph window and the Resource Allocation Gantt window.

Prerequisites

Sites must have been defined in IFS/General Data for Inventory and Distribution.
Maintenance organizations, employees, and crafts must have been defined in Organization Basic Data.
Tool-and-facility types and tools-and-facilities must have been defined and connected to sites in Tools and Facilities Basic Data.
Operation lines with employees and tool-and-facility lines must have been planned on work orders and/or PM actions.

For WO operation lines, values should be entered in the Executed By, Planned Start, Planned Finish and Allocated Hours fields (applicable for both single and multiple allocations).

For PM operation lines the PM_PLAN_OPERATION parameter should be set to TRUE (IFS/Application Services), and for each line in the PM plan, the Executed By, Planned Start, Planned Finish and Planned Hours fields for the relevant operations should contain values. Additionally the PM action should be active.

For WO tool-and-facility lines, the From Date/Time and To Date/Time fields should contain values.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, information will be displayed on the Resource Load Graph window or the Resource Allocation Gantt window.

Procedure

Open the Resource Load Graph or Resource Allocation Gantt window.
Press F3. The Search Resource dialog box opens.
Enter values in the relevant fields depending on your requirements. Click List to select suitable values where applicable.
Specify the date interval for which you want to search.
Click Search.

To search for work orders and PM actions:

Once you have performed the search above, click on the Query button located near the Show Filter check box.
Enter the relevant information and click OK.
