Appointment Reasons are used when registering an appointment that violates the SLA Dates of the work order. When sending an appointment request, the system requests appointment offers over the range of dates covered by the appointment period. Depending upon the SLA dates of the work order (SLA Req. Start and SLA Req. Finish), some offers may be returned that are inside the appointment period, but violates the SLA dates. In such a situation, the user has to register a Reason, if they accept an appointment that violates the SLA dates of the work order. The reason entered is recorded in the work order journal.
