Create Pick List

Explanation

Use this activity to create a pick list for inventory parts needed for the work order. A pick list contains detailed information on an inventory part, such as: name, quantity and date required, and inventory location.

Pick lists can be created for a single material requisition, a single work order (multiple material requisitions) or for multiple work orders. To make sure that the material is available for the work order, you need to reserve it. Once material is added to a pick list, it cannot be issued from the pick list source (e.g., work order, material requisition line). Instead, issuing material can be performed through the pick list.
