Connect Linear Asset to Work Order

Explanation

This activity is used to connect a linear asset to a work order.

Note: The Connection Type can be changed between EQUIPMENT and LINEAR ASSET if the work order status is below the status prepared.

Prerequisites

A linear asset must exist and be connected to a site.

A linear asset will be connected to the work order.

Procedure

1. Open the Prepare Work Order or Report In Work Order window.
2. Search for an existing record or create a new.
3. Click the Linear Asset tab.
4. Enter a value manually in the Linear Asset ID field. Or use the List of Values to select a suitable value.
5. Enter values in other fields as required.
6. Save the record.
