Usage

Use the Create Work, Dispatch and Receive Order assistant to create a complex assembly work order, dispatch order and receive order for an overhaul object, e.g., airplane engine. The assistant consists of three steps. Use the first step to enter basic information for the work order of the overhaul object. Use the second step to enter information on the customer, i.e., the agreement with the customer, and the overhaul object. The customer and part related information you enter in the second step of the assistant will be used on the created complex assembly work order, dispatch order and receive order. In the third step of the assistant you can choose which order(s) you want created using one of the following options:

• Only create a work order
• Create the work order and dispatch order
• Create all three orders, i.e., work, dispatch, and receive order

Note: The availability of these options will depend on the data entered in the first and second steps of the assistant.

The work order will be created with the VIM connection type, and will hold references to the dispatch and receive order headers created through this assistant. If you choose to only create a work order, the information entered in the assistant will be used as a basis for the creation and connection of dispatch and receive orders.
