Use this dialog box to remove serial parts that are configured in a template part structure which you do not require for your maintenance program. Template parts that are not required could have been copied to the maintenance program when parts are copied from a template structure through the Copy Parts From Template Structure dialog box.
Example: A maintenance program for your aircraft exists. The Copy Parts From Template Structure dialog box was selected to assign parts to this maintenance program. Through the selection of this option all template parts of a particular structure (including engine parts) is copied to your maintenance program. However, you do not require a certain engine and its parts. At this instance, you have the option of removing each part manually or using the Remove Part and Structure dialog box to remove the engine and its serials simultaneously.
