Overview Actions per Absence

Explanation

This activity is used to view the actions that are generated for an absence registered for employees in the Absence/Absence Registration tab. Note that absence records are divided into sub periods depending on the configuration defined for absence types and absence groups in the Absence Configuration window.

Absence actions linked to a particular absence record may be automatically generated according to the absence functions used in the configuration. Otherwise, absence actions may also be manually linked to absence records. Therefore, the method used to register the action for an employee absence will be indicated by the value in the Action Type field.

You can use the Absence/Absence Action tab to view all the actions linked to all the absences registered for the employee within a selected period. The Absence Periods window can be used to view the action linked to selected absence records of the employee. Also, the Employee Absence Actions window can be used to view actions registered for all employees within a selected period.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, an absence record should be registered for the employee in the Absence/Absence Registration tab. Note that actions are generated for absences depending on the function setup defined in the Absence Configuration window.

Procedure

To overview absence actions for selected absence records;

  1. Open the Absence window. Search or populate to find an employee who has an absence registered with multiple sub periods.
  2. Go to the Absence Registration tab.
  3. Select an absence record, right-click and click Absence Details to open the Absence Periods window.
  4. Go to the Actions tab. All the actions linked to the selected absence record will be listed.
  5. The Action Done check box will be selected if the action has already been completed. Note that you cannot modify or enter actions in this window.

To overview absence actions for all absences registered within a selected period;

  1. Now, go to the Absence/Absence Action tab. All the actions linked to the employee's absences will be listed.
  2. If required, you can create new records and link new actions absences using this tab.

To overview absence actions for all employees within a selected period;

  1. Open the Employee Absence Actions window.
  2. Specify the time period for which you want to view actions registered for employees.
  3. Search or populate to find the absence actions for your employees.
  4. If required, you can create new records and link new actions to absences using this window.
