This chapter presents three lessons—one key lesson, Training Administration, and two extended lessons, Registering Participants and Completing Training.
The key lesson, Training Administration, guides you through the basic flow, without any advanced functionality. You will learn:
- How to register a training event.
- How to register participants for the training event.
- How to change the status when an event is completed.
- Which actions the Event Server can provide.
The second lesson, Registering Participants, shows you:
- How to register participants from the Competency Based Training and Employee Training Plan windows, as well as from the web interface.
- How to handle cancellations and use the waiting list functionality.
- Which actions the Event Server can provide in this part of the process.
The last lesson, Completing Training, describes:
- How to evaluate a training event and its participants using both the Windows and web client.
- How to update competencies after an employee has attended a course that supports a certain competency level.
- Which standard reports are available.
