Creating Valuation

Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to show you the required data that is used in the exercises below.

  1. Create a valuation for the sub contract.

Main Exercise

Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to valuate the items in a sub contract valuation.

Entering Item Valuation

  1. Open the Sub Contract Valuation window and query for your sub contract valuation.
  2. Click on the Item Valuation tab.
  3. Select a contract line in the upper table.
  4. In the lower part of the table, enter the value 50 in the Valuation Value field for the first contract item. If the valuation method used is Progress, then the value 50 means 50% of the total contract item value.
  5. Save the record (F12).
  6. Observe how the values in the Work Value and Total Value fields change in the header of the tab and in the upper table.
