In the exercises you will see that most of the data are specified with prefix n, X or a combination of these. For example: nX747-900 (Part Number), X10000 (Serial Number) and nAC (Maintenance Group).
The use of prefixes has several advantages:

There is a number of predefined User IDs for the IFS/Vehicle Information Management (IFS/VIM) courses. This makes it easier for the instructor as he/she does not have to define users when starting a training course. Note: These users have been set up properly with company, site, employee, etc.:
