Main Exercise
Purpose: The purpose of this lesson is to learn how to
enter operational start values for new serials having a maintenance program.
Start values are essential for phasing in a maintenance program according to the
actual operational status of the individual serial.
Purpose: The purpose of this lesson is to enter start
values on your A/C to make sure that the maintenance plan will start in phase
with the actual operative status of the A/C.
Windows:
Component Life
- Open the
Component Life
window.
- Query (F3) for your A/C, Part Number X747-900
and Serial Number nX20000.
- Click the
Operational Log tab.
- Operational parameters of the A/C are shown, but with no value (initialized
to zero).
- Specify values according to this table, and save the information:

- Click the
Interval Maint tab.
- We suppose that no maintenance has been done on your A/C before, therefore
let Value At Maintenance remain zero. Lowest Value indicates
when the first maintenance is planned to take place. Data for other operational
parameters than the primary, are listed in the lower part of the window.
