Sales Price Groups—Basic Data and Requirements Exercise

Main Exercise

Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to familiarize you with the basic functionality of creating sales price groups.

Sales Basic Data/Sales Price Groups

Steps: To complete this exercise, perform the following steps in the sequence shown.

IFS Racing sells spare parts and paint for the car bodies of the Racing cars and the Street cars. The spare parts are priced per item, whereas the paint is priced per liter. You will create one sales price group (XX10) for the accessories and one (XX20) for the paint.

  1. Select New (F5).
  2. Enter XX10 in the Sales Price Group field.
  3. Enter a suitable description.
  4. Make sure that the price group type is part based.
  5. Select New (F5).
  6. Enter XX20 in the Sales Price Group field.
  7. Enter a suitable description.
  8. Make sure that the price group type is unit based.
  9. Select Liter as the price group U/M by using the List of Values.
  10. Select Save (F12).
