This course is designed primarily for Recruitment Officers, Supervisors and Employees.
This chapter presents five lessons—one key lesson and four extended lessons.
The key lesson, Recruiting Employees, guides you through the basic flow in IFS/Recruitment, without any advanced functionality. You will learn:
- How to register a personnel requisition and applicants.
- How to nominate and appoint selected candidates.
- Which standard documents and Event Server functions are available within the described flow.
The second lesson, Planning Recruitment Process, shows you:
- How to plan the recruitment process with different activities such as recruitment and selection methods.
- How to define a job opportunity.
- Where to find available standard documents pertaining to this part of the process.
The third lesson, Registering Applicants and Candidates, describes:
- How to register applicants and how to use the Matching Engine to find suitable candidates.
- Where to find standard documents pertaining to this part of the process.
The fourth lesson, Selecting and Appointing Candidates, describes:
- How to schedule and enter selection activities.
- How to transfer information to the employee files and employee strategic files after having appointed a candidate.
- Where to find standard documents pertaining to this part of the process.
The last lesson, Recruiting with Web, guides you through the recruitment functionality available from the web, outlining how to:
- Create a personnel requisition.
- Create a job opportunity to be posted on both the internal and external web.
- Apply for a job from the web.
- Transfer information from an external web interface to the Applicant window in the Centura/Windows client.
