Purpose: The purpose of these exercises is to show the web functionality for the recruitment process.

Prepare Personnel Requisition

  1. Open the Personnel Requisition web page and create a new record.
  2. Enter the job for which you would like to recruit and indicate the responsible recruitment officer.
  3. Enter the number of employees you need to hire and save the information.
  4. Confirm the requisition when prompted by the dialog box.

Job Opportunity Advertisement for Web

  1. Open the Personnel Requisition window and select your requisition with a query.
  2. Enter work region and work category.
  3. Enter Internal Job Posting as the preferred recruitment method.
  4. Change the status to Approved by right-clicking.
  5. Open the Job Opportunity Advertisement window and enter optional data in all fields.
  6. Define Internal Job Posting as the recruitment method. Then select it and right-click to go to the Job Opportunity Recruitment Method Detail window. 
  7. Enter Internal Job Posting as the recruitment method and Intranet as the posting type.
  8. Include your requisition in the Advertised Personnel Requisition tab.

Apply for Job Opportunity

  1. Open the Job Opportunity web page.
  2. Select your newly entered job opportunity.
  3. Using the Action menu, select the job specification and description. You can also compare your own qualifications with those required for the advertised job.
  4. Apply for the job by selecting it on the Action menu.
  5. Open the Personnel Requisition/Job Candidates tab. You are nominated as a job candidate. There will also be a remark indicating that the candidate has applied from the web.

Transfer External Applicants

  1. Open the External Applicant window and select your candidate.
  2. Right-click and select Transfer Applicant. Note the new applicant ID.
  3. Open the Applicant window, select your transferred applicant, and view the information.
