Basic Data Setup

Recruitment Standard

Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to set up the basic data required for running this particular functionality.

  1. Enter a recruitment errand.
  2. Save the information.
  3. Enter a standard selection process.
  4. Save the information.

Recruitment Method

Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to view the recruitment methods.

  1. View the recruitment methods.

Note: The data in the Recruitment Method Descriptions window is hard coded. If you want to change this data, this has to be done by changing the code.

Purpose: The purpose of these exercises is to organize the recruitment process by entering different planning activities, such as recruitment methods and recruitment errands, and to include the requisition in a job opportunity advertisement.

Plan Recruitment Process

  1. Enter a new personnel requisition.
  2. Enter the preferred recruitment method, recruitment errands, and recommended selection process plan in the corresponding tabs.
  3. Save the information.

Note: When registering a personnel requisition, note that the information in the Preferred Recruitment Method and Recommended Selection Process Plan tabs is not mandatory. You can copy the selection processes from the personnel requisition to the Evaluation Process window, otherwise there is no connection to the functionality later on in the recruitment flow.

View Planned Recruitment Process

  1. Open Recruitment Methods Description. Select your requisition with a query.
  2. Open Recruitment Errands. Select your requisition with a query.
  3. OpenRecommended Selection Process Plan. Select your requisition with a query.

Job Opportunity Advertisement

  1. Open the Job Opportunity Advertisement window and enter a new job opportunity.
  2. In the General tab, enter recruitment methods, advertising company ID, and other necessary information.
  3. Save the information.

Note: If you want to advertise the job opening on the intranet, you need to register the Internal Job Posting recruitment method.

  1. To include your personnel requisition in the Advertised Personnel Requisition window, press new in the Personnel Requisition No field and select your personnel requisition by using the List of Values. 
  2. Enter other information regarding the personnel requisition.
  3. Note your job opportunity number and save the information.

Job Opportunity Recruitment Method Details

  1. Open the Job Opportunities Advertisement window.
  2. Select your job opportunity number. 
  3. Right-click and click Job Opportunity Recruitment Method Details.
  4. Enter details for the recruitment method. 
  5. Save the information.

Note: If the job opening will be advertised on the intranet, enter Internal Job Posting as the recruitment method. It is also important to make sure that the system date is within the date interval, if you want the Job Opportunity to be displayed on the Web.
