Procurement Basic Data/Buyers

IFS Racing has employed a new person who will work as a buyer and you are the person who should enter this in IFS Applications.

The buyer for your user already exists in the database. To able to enter a buyer, you need to select another user from the cross-reference table (click the link). Example: If your alias is racing driver ALAIN, you should enter a new record for JOAL.

Entering Buyer

  1. Create a new record (F5).
  2. Select the User ID in the Buyer Code column from the List of Values or enter the short code. The associated name and any phone number previously entered on the person record will be automatically filled in.
  3. Optionally, select the Blocked for Use check box to block the buyer from further use.

Note: If you block a buyer that is specified as the default value in the Sites per User window, a dialog box appears when you select the Blocked for Use check box. Specify a different buyer to update the default buyer ID for all users whose current default value is the one you blocked.

  1. Save (F12).
