Main Exercise

Purpose: The purpose of this lesson is to learn how to enter sign off requirements for a maintenance order that does not have any defined sign off requirements.

Define Sign Off Requirements for the Maintenance Order

1. Open the Maintenance Order window and query (F3) for the necessary maintenance order. You can also create a new maintenance order by using the steps in the above exercise.
2. Click the Sign Off Req. tab.
3. If predefined sign off requirements have not been connected to the product model defined on the maintenance order, enter the requirements manually. To do this, create a new record (F5).
4. Specify the Release to Service distribution type.
5. Enter a license if required.
6. Save the information (F12).
7. Now create another record and enter a second sign off requirement with the Counter Release to Service requirement type and a license if required.
8. Save the information (F12).
