Course Description for Period Reconciliation

This course enable the user to create sophisticated and complex allocations on general ledger balances that would be extremely time consuming to calculate manually.

The estimated time to complete the Period Reconciliation course is 5 hours

The estimated time to complete the Road Map course Accounting Intermediate is 10 hours.

The estimated time to complete the Road Map course Periodical Cost Allocation Advanced is 1 hour and 30 minutes.

The estimated time to complete the Road Map course Consolidation Advanced is 2 hours and 45 minutes.

Consolidation

This chapter handles how to consolidate a subsidiary company's data so that it can be transferred to and updated in the parent company, how to update the parent company's accumulated balances with the subsidiary's opening balances and then achieving a starting point for the year.

Before taking the lessons in this chapter, you should have basic within IFS Financials.

This course was designed primarily for employees working with bookkeeping and for application consultants within IFS Financials.

Periodic Cost Allocation

This chapter handles how to perform periodic operations on balances in the general ledger. A typical allocation is the allocation of indirect costs to cost centers.

Prerequisites

Before taking the lessons in this chapter, you should have basic knowledge within IFS Financials.

The estimated time to complete this chapter is one hour and 15 minutes.

End of Period

This chapter handles how to complete a period process. That is transfer transactions from Inventory and Shop Order and other transactions such as time reported on Work Orders if the company has such  transactions, enter external transactions such as payroll transactions or payment transactions from a file and how to update and order reports related to the end of period process.
