Prerequisite

Set up Scrap Cause

Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to show you how to set up the scrap causes for this exercise.

Windows:
Scrapping Causes

1. Open the Scrapping Causes window.
2. Add one or more scrapping causes of your choice.

Main Exercise

Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to show you how to report scrapped  production at a production line.

Windows:

Production Receipts

Report Scrap

1. Open the Production Schedule by Line window.
2. Query for Production Line 900.
3. Delete all old production schedules. 
4. Generate a production schedule for 10  pcs. of Part 61–901. Make sure that you have about five schedules with 10 pcs. on each.
5. Specify scrap receipt for one of the production schedules.
6. Enter the quantity scrapped and the scrap reason.
7. Select the Partial Scrap check box, and add Report Point ID 10.
8. Click OK.
9. Open the Production Receipts window and populate.
10. Analyze the details referred to scrapped quantities. Go to Reject Reason and Reject Message columns and check the information.
