Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to show you how to create a substance.

Setting Up Substances with chemical properties

  1. Open the Substance window.
  2. Create a substance by clicking New and entering 13463-67-7 in the Substance No field.
  3. In the Description field, enter Titanium Dioxide.
  4. Save your changes.
  5. Click the Chemical Properties tab.
  6. In the Substance Type list, select Pigment.
  7. Add the rest of the data from the table below for the substance.
  8. Save your changes.

Note: You have now created a substance. Follow the steps above to create more substances and also enter the other data as given in the table below.
All the density values should be entered in the unit kg/m3. (The substances values are not real).
