Purpose: The purpose of these exercises is to show you how to create a composition for a part.

Create a Composition for a Part

 
Note: The part must exist in Part window.

80–501 Opaque Agent
80–502 Paint Solvent
80–505 Emulsifier
80–510 Paint Stabilizer
  1. Open the Part window.
  2. Populate or query for an existing part 80-501.
  3. Click the Composition by Weight tab.
  4. Create a composition by clicking New and entering 4300 as the density for the part in the Density field.
  5. Create a new record in the table.
  6. Enter 13463-67-7 in the Substance No field either manually or by using the List of Values. Enter 100% in the Weight Share field.
  7. When you save the composition, some properties for the part will be calculated.

Note: Create more compositions and also add the other data as in the table.
